IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING: To guard against injury, basic safety precautions should be observed, including the following.
1 Read and follow all safety instructions
and all the important notices on the appliance before using the appliance. Failure to do so may result in damage to this appliance.

2 To avoid possible electrical shock, special care should be taken since water is employed in the use of this product. For each of the following situations, do not attempt repairs yourself; return the pump to an authorized service facility for service if it is still under warranty or discard the appliance.
A If the pump shows any sign of abnormal water leakage, disconnect the power supply cord and remove pump from water.
B Carefully examine the appliance after installation. It should not be plugged in if there is water on parts not intended to be wet.
C Do not operate the appliance if it has a damaged electrical cord or plug, or if it is malfunctioning or if it is dropped or damaged in any manner. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard. Never cut the cord.
D The electrical outlet should always be above the level of the appliance. If the plug or outlet does get wet, DO NOT unplug the electrical cord. Disconnect the fuse or circuit breaker that supplies power to the appliance, then unplug and examine for presence of water in the outlet.
3 This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with significantly impaired physical or mental capabilities, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children should always be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children.
4 To avoid injury, do not contact moving or hot parts.
CAUTION
5 Always unplug or disconnect the appliance from the outlet before putting on or taking off parts and while the equipment is being installed, maintained or handled. When inserting or removing the pump from the water, pull out the main electrical plug. Never connect or disconnect the pump plug when there is water in the reservoir. Never yank the cord to pull the plug from the outlet. Grasp the plug and pull to disconnect. Always unplug an appliance from an outlet when not in use. Never lift the pump by the cord.
CAUTION
6 THIS DEVICE INCLUDES A PET DRINKING FOUNTAIN PUMP.
The pump has been evaluated for use with fresh water only. Do not use this pump for other than its intended use (i.e. don’t use it in swimming pools, bath tubs, etc.). The use of attachments not recommended or sold by the appliance manufacturer may cause an unsafe condition.
• Do not use the pump in swimming pools or other situations where people are immersed.
• This pump is suitable for use in water temperatures up to 35˚C.
• Do not use this pump with inflammable liquids.
7 Do not install or store the appliance where it will be exposed to temperatures below freezing. Shelter the pump from direct sunlight.
8 Ensure that the appliance is placed on a flat, even surface. Monitor the appliance regularly. Do not leave the appliance unattended for extended periods. Do not allow the pump to run dry. The pump must be immersed in water completely. This pump must never operate outside of water.
9 If an extension cord is necessary, ensure the connection is watertight and dust proof. A cord with a proper rating should be used. A cord rated for less amperes or watts than the appliance rating may overheat. Care should be taken to arrange the cord so that it will not be tripped over or pulled.
10 Do not use this unit outdoors. This unit is for indoor use only

usage
Proper hydration is vital to a dog’s health. The Zeus Oasis Plus Fountain provides your dog with a continuous indoor source of fresh, purified water. Drinking more water helps ensure proper kidney function, helping to prevent crystal formation that can lead to urinary diseases.
The pump is equipped with a sensor that detects when the water level inside the reservoir is too low. At that point, the fountain will shut down automatically, to prevent the pump from running dry. Once the water is topped up, the fountain will start running again
INSTALLATION
1. Take the unit out of the packaging. Remove the stainless steel top, filter tray, filter pad, electronic unit and pump. Remove the pump connector tube from the filter tray and pump. DO NOT disconnect the pump plug. It is only meant to be disconnected when replacing the pump with a new one.
2. Clean the fountain before use to remove any dirt or debris: Clean the electronic unit using a damp cloth only. Clean the other fountain parts (excluding the filter) with a sponge and rinse thoroughly. Do not use abrasive cleansers or materials on any part of the unit.
3. Disassemble the pump by removing the sponge, pump cover, impeller cap, and impeller.
4a. Rinse each pump part with water. Clean the pump housing with a brush.
4b. Carefully reassemble the pump.
5. Fill the reservoir with water up to the maximum water level mark. Do not overfill the fountain.
6. Place the electronic unit in the designated recess in the reservoir, with the long end of the unit inside of the reservoir.
7. Insert the black plastic tube into the filter tray.
8. Attach the pump to the filter tray using the transparent pump connector tube.
9. Lower the filter tray onto the reservoir, aligning the slot in the top with the electronic unit.
10. Take the filter pad out of the polybag. Rinse the filter pad to remove excess dust and soak it completely.
11. Insert the filter pad into the filter tray with packets facing down. Press down on the center of the filter so it sits tucked underneath all 4 plastic tabs.
12. Lower the stainless steel top onto the reservoir.
13. Attach the power cord to the USB adapter and plug it into the wall socket. Secure excess power cord with a tie wrap and place it behind the device to avoid pet chewing and entanglement of pet and/or cord.

This equipment complies with FCC radiation exposure limits set forth for an uncontrolled environment. This equipment should be installed and operated with minimum distance 20cm between the radiator and your body. This transmitter must not be co-located or operating in conjunction with any other antenna or transmitter.

WIFI & APP
Quick setup:
1. Download the app which is available in the App
Store and Google Play. Click “Sign up” to get walked through to create your
account.
2. Plug the adapter into an electrical socket so the fountain is operational. Next, ensure that the white ZEUS Logo on the display of the electronic unit is blinking, indicating the device is ready to connect to Wi-Fi. Open the Zeus App and click the + button to get walked through the Setup steps.
Troubleshooting:
- The fountain doesn’t support 5 GHz Wi-Fi, please make sure your Wi-Fi is 2.4 GHz.
- If the ZEUS logo is not blinking after the fountain is switched on, press the button on the back of the electronic unit for 5 seconds until the Zeus logo starts blinking.
- If you have trouble establishing a Wi-Fi connection, move the fountain and app closer to the network router so you are within range of the Wi-Fi signal.
There are two ways for the Zeus Oasis Plus Fountain to connect to your
Wi-Fi / Wireless router (Press the button on the back of the fountain for
5 seconds to reset the fountain and start connecting to the app):
- Bluetooth-assisted: Enable Bluetooth on your smartphone. Bluetooth will detect the fountain and the Zeus mobile app will prompt you to connect. Once the connection is established, Bluetooth can be turned off again.
- AP mode: If the Bluetooth-assisted method doesn’t establish a connection, select AP mode in the Zeus app. The fountain will create a Wi-Fi hotspot. Connect your smartphone to the Zeus Oasis Plus fountain Wi-Fi hotspot and set up the fountain. After this connection is successful, you can connect to your regular Wi-Fi again.
With the app, the following features can be controlled remotely (check to
see if you have the latest app version installed):
- Dog Profile (Home Screen): Create a custom profile for your dog to keep track of their personal information (birthday, weight,…)
- Water Level: Indicates the water level in the Zeus Oasis Plus fountain.
- Fountain status: Indicates if the fountain pump is active or not.
- Refresh water and clean filter: Indicates when it’s time to refresh the water in the fountain and rinse the filter.
- Pump power: Set the water flow strength of the pump
- Clean fountain: 60-day countdown to when you need to give the fountain and pump a thorough cleaning. After cleaning, make sure that the fountain is connected to the internet, before updating the pump status in the mobile app.
- Replace filter: Indicates when it is time to replace the filter.
- Timer: Turn the fountain pump off during a specific time frame.
- Night mode: Program when to turn the fountain display off completely
- UV-C: Start the water clarification process manually
- Display brightness: Adjust the fountain display brightness.
- Messages: Overview of Fountain notifications.
- Pump on/off: Switch the pump ON or OFF
- Water level alert: Receive notifications on your mobile phone in case of low water level or when the water in the reservoir has run out.
- Personalized message: Set a short message to display on the Zeus Oasis Plus fountain display.
- Set reminders: (optional) Receive notifications on your smartphone and fountain display.
- (Shared) Connection: It’s possible to connect multiple ZEUS Oasis Plus Drinking Fountains to your account and give each of them a unique name. You can also share the device with other accounts (e.g. family, dog sitter) so they can control and monitor it from a distance.
MAINTENANCE
1. Disassemble the pump by removing the sponge, pump cover, impeller cap, and impeller.
2. Rinse each pump part with water, removing any hairs or debris from the sponge, impeller and pump housing. Clean the pump housing with a brush. Carefully reassemble the pump
It’s recommended to clean the fountain and rinse the pump sponge and fountain filter every 3 days, and to clean the pump on a weekly basis.
WARNING: Always unplug the fountain from the electrical wall socket with dry hands before putting on or taking off parts and whenever the pump is being installed, maintained or handled. Wash and rinse the fountain with a soft sponge and a non-abrasive cleanser. Rinse thoroughly, ensuring no soapy residue. Remove the filter from the tray and rinse. Do not wash the filter with soap. If filter contains excess debris or other foreign matter, replace it (replacement filters sold separately). The filter should be replaced every 3-4 weeks or when there are visible signs that the filter is saturated with foreign matter (debris, food, hair, etc.) or if the water flow is impeded. More frequent changes may be necessary due to indoor environmental and water conditions, as well as multiple pet use.
To prevent limescale deposits and to keep the stainless steel top and filter tray in top
shape, it’s recommended to clean them in the dishwasher regularly (e.g. once or twice
a week, at first signs of limescale deposits). DO NOT put the electronic unit in the
dishwasher. Clean it with a damp cloth. Unscrew the tray connector parts from the
steel tray for a thorough cleaning.
To clean the pump, open the pump and remove impeller cap and impeller. Remove any debris from the impeller and clean the impeller well with running water. Handle the impeller with care. If the pump makes noise, clean the pump and top up the water level in the fountain reservoir so the pump is fully submerged. DO NOT ALLOW THE PUMP TO RUN DRY. DO NOT DISCONNECT THE PUMP PLUG
WARRANTY
Your Zeus Oasis Plus Fountain is guaranteed for defective parts and workmanship for a period of 2 years from the date of purchase. This guarantee is valid with proof of purchase only. The guarantee is limited to repair or replacement only and does not cover consequential loss, loss or damage to livestock and personal property or damage to animate or inanimate objects, irrespective of the cause thereof. This guarantee is valid only under normal operating conditions for which the unit is intended. It excludes any damage caused by unreasonable use, negligence, improper installation, tampering, abuse or commercial use. The warranty does not cover wear and tear or parts which have not been adequately or correctly maintained.
